The company has expanded rapidly, focusing on tools like Claude Code, used widely by businesses and developers to help drive annual revenue to approximately US$14 billion. Major investors include Microsoft Corp., Nvidia Corp., Google LLC parent Alphabet Inc., Amazon.com Inc., and Blackstone Inc. Anthropic is expanding its portfolio of AI work products and also has said it supports the regulation of responsible AI, pooling funds to support US candidates who favor industry oversight.
