As per the survey conducted nationwide, Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah has emerged as the most favorite political leader among Nepal Gen Z (aged 13-28), with 74.18 percent of the 1,019 respondents choosing him as their favorite. He topped Rabi Lamichhane (35.75%) and Harka Sampang (31.67%), and the old-time leaders such as KP Oli, Prachanda, and Sher Bahadur Deuba got significantly less. The finding shows how Gen Z values fresh, action-oriented leaders rather than politicians.
