China’s BYD Vehicle Sales Fall for Fifth Month in a Row

The sales of BYD’s vehicle fell 30.1% compared to that of a year earlier, marking the fifth month of decline in a row. The sales of plug in hybrid cars declined sharply along with production. While BYD is expanding overseas with new plants planned in Europe, Asia, and South America, slower growth in China and reduced government subsidies are putting pressure on its domestic business.
