Crusher Waste Poorly Managed

In Kavrepalanchowk, most of the crushers and mining industries are failing to dispose of their waste properly, and hence dust and debris accumulate along rivers and streams. This may cause a blockage of water flow and destroy neighbouring land and raise the chances of floods and landslides. This was alerted by a monitoring task force. According to the report, unsafe working conditions, expired or lost permits, unauthorised mining, and inadequate dust control that adversely affect both the workers and community were also found. It was advised that it was time to tighten the belt, fence off, install dust control equipment, and renew records of industry and judicial proceedings to negate the action of the unregistered or the unsafe operations to safeguard the environment and the safety of people.
