Following days of violent Gen Z-led protests that killed 34 and injured well over a thousand more, the Nepal Army eased the curfew in Kathmandu on Friday, allowing limited movement between 6 and 11 am and 5 and 7 pm. Groups of five or more are still prohibited during the day, and they will be allowed to carry an ID as essential workers, but a night curfew between 7 pm and 6 am is still in place and can be extended depending on the circumstances.
