CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that the identity and self-respect of the Muslim community have improved compared to the past. However, he also mentioned that the Muslim community still faces some discrimination. He spoke about this on Thursday during a meeting with Muslim community members in Birgunj.
Dahal said all ethnic, language, and religious communities should be treated equally. He said that this campaign helps to bring political stability to the country. The Maoist Centre is organizing different programs in the Parsa district today as part of its Tarai-Madhes awakening campaign along the Postal Highway. Top party leaders have already arrived in the Parsa district for these events.
