Early monsoon triggers rise in dengue infections across Nepal.

Dengue infection

Due to the early monsoon, more cases of dengue have been spotted in Nepal, with the number reaching 1255 in 72 different districts. The highest population is found in Kathmandu, next by Kaski, Sunsari, and more. They say that too much rain may cause an increase in mosquitoes and up the risk of diseases. Though we cannot completely get rid of dengue, experts think it can be managed by working together. It is advised to wear long clothes, make use of nets, seal water containers, and remove anything that collects water, to avoid getting bitten by mosquitoes.
