Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) is carrying out demolition of illegal constructions on private properties, such as people’s unauthorized awnings and polyroofs next to main roads. It was confirmed by LMC Police Chief Sitaram Hachhethu that removal of unauthorized structures started in Shankhamul on Monday, and the process will continue at Mangal Bazar and Pulchowk in the days ahead.
