The flood in the Lende River in the morning of Tuesday swept the Nepal-China border Bridge at the border of Rasuwagadhi in Rasuwa, which was severely damaged. Several new electric vehicles brought into the country and parked in the dry port were also washed away. Security officials and other people trapped have been evacuated by the authorities, who also advised people living downstream to move to safer grounds. It is feared that some individuals could have been trapped in cars during the flood, although that has not yet been ascertained. The Nepal Army has also been deployed to assist in rescue, and poor weather has interfered with the helicopter support.
