Google’s Gemini team introduced two new features: Audio Overview and Canvas. These tools help users interact better with documents and coding projects. According to GSM Arena, Audio Overview turns uploaded documents into audio podcasts with two AI hosts. It currently works only in English, but more languages will be added soon. To use Audio Overview, users upload documents or slides and click a suggestion chip. The podcast is created in minutes and can be shared or downloaded.
Google suggests using it for class notes, research papers, and reports. Another new tool that facilitates the creation, editing, and sharing of work is Canvas. It offers fast formatting, tone, and length-changing capabilities. Additionally, Canvas facilitates coding, assisting students and developers in producing functional prototypes. Canvas is now accessible to all Gemini users globally, according to GSM Arena.
