514,071 students sat for the SEE as nationwide exams began

The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) started today. The National Examination Board said the SEE will begin at 8 AM in 2,079 exam centers across the country. On the first day, students will take compulsory English. Vedavidyashram students will take compulsory Sanskrit composition, and Madrasa students will take compulsory Arabic language.

This year, 514,071 students are giving the SEE. This is 49,286 more than last year’s 464,785 students. To run the exams smoothly, each center with up to 150 students has one assistant head and one invigilator for every 20 students. Centers with fewer than 75 students do not have an assistant center head.
