Gen-Z protesters defied the curfew and assembled outside the Federal Parliament in New Baneshwor today to express their disapproval of the government and demand justice for the 19 individuals who were killed in the Monday crackdown. Post the disturbance on Monday, the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police regained control of the situation with the establishment of barricades and barbed wire. Regardless of indefinite curfews that have been introduced in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur, the demonstrations have continued, bringing the strains in the capital to a greater level.
