During FY 2025/26, the government will construct 200 suspension bridges, 100 suspension bridges to be repaired, and it will create 40 motorable bridges. New roads, upgrades of river corridors, improvements of parks, and construction of public buildings are also planned. Big programs such as the cricket stadium, the Singha Durbar buildings, and the amusement park at Bhrikutimandap are in progress. Conservation of land and heritage, as well as the formulation of new laws on urban development, are also in the scope of the ministry.
