The World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, has brought together leaders and thinkers, with a great deal of emphasis on U.S. President Donald Trump’s activities and suggestions. Trump’s appearance in Davos has caused consternation in U.S. foreign capitals about his threats to Greenland and his tariff threats in Europe, as well as his suggestion about his proposed Board of Peace, which would manage global conflicts, except in Gaza. European leaders, in particular France, have reacted vehemently to threats of sovereignty and tariffs.
