At the company’s annual shareholder meeting, CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that Meta’s AI assistant has one billion monthly active users throughout its app ecosystem. Deepening personalization, voice interaction, and entertainment are currently the main priorities. The milestone was enhanced by a stand-alone app that was released in April. Before making money off of it through subscriptions or paid recommendations, Meta intends to grow the product. Additionally, 14 business items, such as climate and child safety policies, were put to a vote by shareholders.
