After the increased pressure at registration centers, the Election Commission introduced the national ID based registration. Due to this, now fewer people are visiting the offices to register, while new registrations have increased. There are fewer crowds in the election offices. Over 285,000 individuals have already registered in election offices, and over 200,000 registered in the National ID system in three days. The Election Commission had prolonged voter registration time till November 21 and is making arrangements for the House of Representatives election on March 5, 2026.
