The Men’s National Cricket Team of Nepal beat Scotland in another splendid low-scoring match by two wickets in the Tri-Nation T20I series on Tuesday. Having decided to bat first, Nepal dismissed Scotland for 97 runs with a magnificent bowling performance by Sandeep Lamichhane, who bagged four wickets to subsequently earn him the title of Player of the Match. Dipendra Singh Airee and Karan KC also bagged two wickets each. In the chase, Nepal got off to a rocky beginning, but it was rescued by the 30-run innings of Kushal Bhurtel. The match stretched to the last over, and it was a tense win with the match-winning run scored by Lamichhane in the second-to-last ball as Nepal defeated Scotland.
