The Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that there will be clean banknotes to be exchanged during Dashain between September 14 and 26. It will be offered at the Thapathali office of NRB, its provincial offices, and through the licensed banks and other financial institutions in the country. This year, Dashain starts with Ghatasthapana on September 22, then Fulpati on September 29, and Bijaya Dashami on October 2.
