A meeting of the Parliamentary Party of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is scheduled for today at 2 PM at its Chamati office in Kathmandu. The main topics of discussion will include the party’s stance on the six ordinances that are currently up for return under the in-house study, as well as the organization of its Legal Affairs and Policy study sections.
RSP has officially called for Parliament to reject those ordinances. The party would also discuss party leader Rabi Lamichhane’s demand to restore his parliamentary membership, which has yet to be responded to by the Speaker. The case of the Pathibhara cable car will also be raised by RSP in the House of Representatives, which will start on February 6.
