The government initiated the ‘Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund, which was established to repair buildings that were damaged during the September 8-9 Gen Z protests and raised funds amounting to 62.4 million till now, as Rajesh Pandey, spokesperson of the Finance Ministry, confirmed. The fund, whose purpose is to rebuild public, government, and private property damaged during the unrest, still receives deposits, donations, and gifts through an account managed by Rastriya Banijya Bank, the Singha Durbar branch.
