Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, have traveled abroad to get medical treatment in Singapore after they sustained injuries in the incident of the Gen-Z protest on September 9. The couple that was attacked at their Budhanilkantha home arrived at the Changi Airport in Singapore in a wheelchair. The Nepali Congress says that Deuba had 12 stitches on his head previously and is still recuperating.
