Authorities recovered six fake pistols from The Toy Store in Civil Mall Sundhara, Kathmandu, during a police operation. The weapons resemble real pistols in weight but are fake. Suraj Magar, a 31-year-old man of Kavre district was detained over weapons-related charges for importing and selling the weapons. We allege that the suspect had imported the items, upon which he had to pay NPR 501 each, but then he sold them between 14,000 and 19,000 NPR. The case is under ongoing investigation to uncover trafficking and sale networks.
