An avalanche on Monday morning in the Dolakha valley in Yalungri base camp claimed the lives of three people, two of them Nepali guides and one a foreign climber, and eight more are missing. The only problem that slowed down rescue operations was that there was limited airspace and the weather was bad, but they still deployed a joint team of the Nepali Army, Police, and Armed Police Force to search for the missing.
