Uber to Invest Over $100 Million in Autonomous Vehicle Charging Amid Robotaxi Push

Uber Technologies will invest more than $100 million in building fast charging infrastructure for autonomous vehicles. The company will begin operations in major U.S. cities such as the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Dallas. The company will also collaborate with charging firms in the U.S. and Europe to increase the number of charging stations by hundreds. Uber Technologies is already providing robotaxi services in various U.S. and Middle Eastern cities and collaborating with firms such as Waymo to enhance its autonomous vehicle business.
