In a grant of 37 million dollars, the United States has supplied Nepal with two new M28 Skytrucks, bringing its fleet to five. Manufactured by PZL Mielec, one has been outfitted as an air ambulance, and its short-takeoff and landing performance are appropriate to the Nepal highlands. The delivery, which added to 2 Skytrucks that had been donated in 2019 and another that Nepal bought, was celebrated as a milestone in the Nepal-U.S. relations.
