Volvo Cars Aims to Tackle Range Anxiety With New Mid-Size Electric SUV

New Mid-Size Electric SUV

Volvo has announced a new mid-sized electric SUV, the EX60, which will launch later this month and offer a driving range of up to 810 km on a single charge. The company says the long range is meant to reduce “range anxiety” and encourage more people to choose electric vehicles. Under ideal conditions, the EX60 can gain up to 340 km of range in about 10 minutes of charging. The EX60 is the electric replacement for Volvo’s popular XC60 and will be built on an all electric platform, with full details to be revealed on January 21.
