Waymo, the autonomous division of Alphabet, announced that it will enhance the way that its robotaxis deal with emergencies and collaborate with first responders following a massive power interruption in San Francisco when some automobiles in the unit stalled. Temporary termination of the service occurred at the company when a large section of the city was impacted by a substation fire to the tune of approximately 130,000 people. California regulators are currently examining the incidents, and Waymo will update its systems, and in such a case, vehicles would be able to act more appropriately.
