The Supreme Court has received five writ petition appeals against the recent dissolution of the House of Representatives. The petitions, one of which was filed by Yubaraj Saphal of Sindhuli, point out that the appointment of interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki was unconstitutional. The dissolution suggested by Karki and approved by President Ram Chandra Paudel will result in new elections in March, and the cases are currently under review by the Supreme Court.
