The new mobile application Hami (Happy Migration) has been introduced in Lalitpur by the Government of Korea to support Nepali migrant workers, as they now have easy access to important information concerning their employment. With the financial backing of Korea and in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour of Nepal, the app provides advice on skills development, finances, and mental well-being, and is set in Nepali and English. The app is designed to be of assistance to both permanent and repatriated migrant workers, as well as to enhance entrepreneurship and more Nepal-Korea connectivity.
