Two of the largest digital wallets in Nepal, IME Pay and Khalti, will be integrating to form a new entity named IME Khalti Limited, which will begin on July 17. IME Pay has purchased the assets of Khalti, which will soon be incorporated into one app. The migration of users to the new Khalti application will take place with the addition of IME Pay features. The single wallet will provide services such as remittance and opening bank accounts, and online lending, targeting to improve the Nepal digital payment system.
