All passport application services that were halted by the District Administration Office (DAO) Kathmandu have restarted as of today, with two shifts running between 7 AM and 7 PM. The DAO indicates that the online application will be opened at 5 PM, and the applicant will be required to attend in person at the time specified, since there is a high demand and few service stations. The services were suspended after the arson and vandalism attack during the Gen Z protests in early September.
