The night traffic on the Malekhu-Muglin section of the Prithvi Highway will be prohibited between 10:30 pm to 3:00 am from June 13 to 21 because of the construction work on the bridges. RCC beams are being placed across various rivers, and huge cranes need a complete stoppage of the traffic during this interval. Only vehicles that are emergency cases will be permitted to pass. Heavy vehicles will be halted at Malekhu and Muglin, and the light vehicles will be detained at Shital Bazar and Kurintar. Since the construction process will need coordination and safety, authorities have asked travelers to plan and cooperate.
