A man named Jayrudra Jha was arrested in Kathmandu for making a fake bomb threat at the Janamaitri Secondary School, where he was taking his master’s in public administration exam. He had made a phone call to the police hotline stating that he had planted a bomb, and a bomb squad was called in. Later, Jha was traced to Kirtipur, where the police discovered his examination paper. He has denied the act but later admitted that he had hoaxed because of exam pressure. He is under investigation at the Kathmandu District Police Office.
