A house in Gongabu, Kathmandu, was raided by police, who recovered cash of Rs 35 million and gold of Rs 5 million. It is claimed that the homeowner, Binod Kumar Shrestha of Gorkha, is operating an illegal lending business in which he imposes high interest rates and accepts gold as security. The police are doing further investigations.
