Private Schools Intensify Protests With 7,000 Bus Rally Against Education Bill

In Kathmandu, thousands of school buses went around the Ring Road, and the private schools raised their voice against the new School Education Bill. Schools are insisting on two amendments: they will no longer be required to maintain a 15 percent scholarship quota, but just 10 percent, and they will not be required ever again to convert into non-profit entities.
