The Nepal Tourism Board has recorded a 22% rise in international tourists compared to last year. The arrivals in the first half-year (January through August) were 736,562, of which South Asia contributed more than half. The growth demonstrates that tourism is recovering after COVID-19 due to the additional flights by Air India Express, said NTB CEO Deepak Raj Joshi.
