After months of testing, Samsung’s One UI 7 update based on Android 15 is finally being released to supporters of older Galaxy devices, the S24 and Galaxy Z sequence. Noteworthy features like AI-based tools to summarize content, check grammar, and 20 languages to approve call transcripts are included. The update also comes with an “Audio Eraser” to remove noises from videos and automatic call recording with transcripts.
The home screen and lock screen have also been redesigned to allow more customization. A new feature called the “Now Bar” gives users quicker access to apps without having to unlock the device. User interface improvements, such as faster animations, redesigned icons, and improved app performance, are included. Samsung has also improved Google Gemini integration to control your voice commands. However, some AI functions might not work on older devices.
