On Wednesday, seven more Nepali citizens were evacuated to New Delhi with the assistance of the Indian government after they had been held up previously because they lacked the exit permits in Mashhad, Iran. The evacuation is one of the bigger operations that are organized by the Indian Embassy in Tehran due to the increasing tensions in the region. Eleven Nepalis so far, many of whom had worked for years in Iran, have been saved, with one left in Iran because he cannot provide the necessary documents.
